ASIC is a UK Visas and Immigration approved accreditation body for the purposes of the Student Visitor Visa.

ISO 9001:2008 Accredited Certification

ISO9001 2008ASIC has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 accredited certification in recognition of their commitment to high standards in its accreditation process and internal procedures.

ASIC was assessed and met the requirements of ISO9001:2008 for the following scope of operations: ‘Accreditation for education institutions in the UK and Worldwide’.

BQF: British Quality Foundation

British Quality Foundation was Founded in 1993 by Government and leading UK businesses, the British Quality Foundation (BQF) is Europe’s largest corporate membership organisation dedicated to performance improvement. BQF’s Patron is HRH The Princess Royal and current President is David Callaghan. ASIC has been accepted as member of BQF since 26th August 2011.

Gulf Award

GULF Education AwardGulf Education Conference 2013 was held on 19th – 20th June 2013 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London. The Gulf Education Conference provides one of the best avenues to explore potential partnerships in the education sector. ASIC were proud to receive a Gulf Education Recognition Award at the recent Gulf Education conference held this year in London. Chairman Mr Maurice Dimmock and CEO Mr Lee Hammond were there to receive the award for “Commitment to Raising the Level of Education Experiences for all via Implementation of International Accreditation.”

ENQA: European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education

The European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education was established in 2000 to promote European co-operation in the field of quality assurance. ENQA is a membership association and its members are quality assurance agencies operating in Higher Education in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

ASIC are affiliates of ENQA. Affiliate bodies are bona fide organisations or agencies with a demonstrable interest in the quality assurance of higher education.

EDEN: European Distance and E-Learning Network

EDENThe European Distance and E-Learning Network exists to share knowledge and improve understanding amongst professionals in distance and e-learning and to promote policy and practice across the whole of Europe and beyond.

CHEA: Council for Higher Education Accreditation

CHEA International Quality Group - CIQGThe Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is a United States organisation of degree-granting colleges and universities. It identifies its purpose as providing national advocacy for self-regulation of academic quality through accreditation in order to certify the quality of higher education accrediting organisations.

The organisation has approximately 3,000 academic institutions as members, and currently recognises approximately 60 accrediting organisations. It maintains an International Directory which “contains contact information about 467 quality assurance bodies, accreditation bodies and Ministries of Education in 175 countries.

The quality assurance and accreditation bodies have been authorised to operate by their respective governments. ASIC (Accreditation Services for International Schools, Colleges and Universities) has been accepted as member of CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG Membership List). GUIDE Association

NAFSA: Association of International Educators

NAFSA was founded in 1948 as the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers to promote the professional development of American college and university. NAFSA is the world’s largest nonprofit professional association dedicated to international education.

They are professionals in all areas of international education including education abroad advising and administration, international student advising, campus internationalization, admissions, outreach, overseas advising, and English as a Second Language (ESL) administration.

UN Academy Impact – UNAI

The United Nations Academic Impact is a global initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in furthering the realisation of the purposes and mandate of the organisation through activities and research in a shared culture of intellectual social responsibility.

AIEA: Association of International Education Administrators

The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), a membership organisation formed in November 1982, is composed of institutional leaders engaged in advancing the international dimensions of higher education.

AIEA is the only association in the world focused exclusively on professional development, advocacy, information sharing and networking for leaders in the field of international higher education. ASIC has been accepted as member of AIEA.
